I would like to go to hell with Mike Tyson. Fristly, he has strong mental, and I think he had already been through hell. So, he had experience, he knows what to do. I feel like he can guide me well, he can holds and fights through any situation. He is manly man, brave, and strong man.

            Monk, one of the finest sorts who are rode the country; a manly man, brave man. Hunting was his sport, a good man to horse. Most similar to Monk character actor from now is Jennifer Lawrence, she is from movie “Hunger Games” Katniss. She is a woman and Monk is a man but they both brave, and love to hunt. In the movie, Katniss hunt animals every day for the meals. She is really good at hunting; she is expert at using arrow. She is also brave, when her sister Primrose elected to hunger game, Katniss volunteer for her. When Peeta was sick and hurt, Katniss take care of him in the cage. Even if she was in bad situation, she done it in given situation bravely. It shows Katniss’s brave and how much Katniss loves Primrose. Basically her image is brave and good hunter. I would cast Katniss for Monk.

            Doctor, he is doctor, smart, always helpful, love to help people, and no one alive could talk as well as he dose on points of medicine and of surgery. Most similar to Doctor in actor from now is Judy Law, he is from movie “Sherlock Holmes,” he played Dr. John Watson. He is also a doctor, smart, always helpful, love to help people, and a lot of knowledge about medical. In the beginning of the movie “Sherlock Holmes 2”, it starts with him writing a story about his life and Sherlock Holmes. When Sherlock Holmes past out, Watson gave treatment to Holmes to save him. Also when there was explosion in the building, he helped people with medical care and treatment. It shows also a doctor, smart, always helpful, love to help people, and a lot of knowledge about medical. Just for he is a doctor it shows that he is smart. I would cast Watson for the Doctor.

            Knight, a perfect gentle, brave, strong, many experience, a most distinguished man, truth, honor, and generousness. Most similar to Knight in actor now is Sylvester Stallone. He is in movie “Rocky” for Rocky Balboa. He is also a perfect gentle, brave, strong, many experience, a most distinguished man, truth, honor, and generousness. In the movie, he is a boxer who never quit, always practice with the purpose, brave, and strong. He won his first fight with Apollo Creed, boxing champion, as an amateur. He never went down, no meter how hard he got hit, he always moving forward. He always thinks positive, and has a responsibility on what he did. He is the real brave and gentle man. I would cast Sylvester Stallone for Knight.

Journal #3

            Every school should wear a school uniform, but uniform should have many different kind of style. Normal school uniform is too simple and not stylish. It has only 2~3 kinds of shirts or less. So, it gets bored quickly on wearing same shirts after day. If there are many kinds of shirt or style, we’ll have many choices to choose as normal casual cloth and student does not have to worry about what to wear.

            Good thing about school uniform is student does not have to worry about what to wear. They don’t have to spend some time on what to wear. Also, people can see which school this student goes to. Bad thing about uniform is too simple and personal. Sometime the cloth that person wear shows person’s personality or about that person. If students wear a school uniform, people can’t see about them. It is same cloth every time when students go to school, so we can’t tell what kind of person he or she is. It’s like something is blocking to hide that person.

 There are some bad thing and good things about school uniforms but I still think all school should wear a school uniform. The little change will make school uniform much better than we usually think.

Paradise

            Paradise by Coldplay is a song that inspires me. The first time that I heard this song, it inspired me immediately. It was my style of song, and it reminds me when I first came to America. I like the background music and the rhythm of this song. The background music tells me the paradise, and rhythm is quiet and somehow peaceful. The biggest reason this song inspires me is the lyrics.

            “When she was just a girl, she expected the world, but it flew away from her reach, so she ran away in her sleep.” A young girl was expected to do what she want, but it wasn’t as she expected. It just came to my mine. “Dreamed of paradise, every time she closed her eyes.” How much she expected. My favorite part of lyric is “Life goes on, it gets so heavy, the wheel breaks the butterfly. Every tear, a waterfall,” because it means a lot to me. I’ve been through similar situation, I know how she feels and I know is in her mind.

            In this song, there are not a lot of words compare to other songs, but it still tells us a story. It tells the story by tone, rhythm, and music. This is why this song inspires me.

            October 7, Sunday, it rained just to soak the road. The wind blew swiftly. It was the kind of weather most of Floridians like. Sunday is a special and exciting day because it is only one day out of weekend that I can relax.

My brother and I went to place where we always see a hope and answer. When I was praying, I felt power of the GOD; he was really close to me. After the words, I feel like I’m a feather, and happy. There is a lunch room that everyone eats lunch together after words. I shake pastor’s hand nice and gently. When I walk to the lunch room, I smell the heaven. It was delicious curry with rice. It was just spicy to sting tongue and it was just perfect for me.

My brother and I race on the road. When we are on the road, we turn in to winds. Whenever we are on the start line, our hearts beat fast and ready to go. His car starts snarling like a tiger, but my car snarls like a cat. Our heart beat tells us the green light. We begin to race with the sound of the wind whistling in our ears.

            September 25, 2012. Earth has been attacked by a aliens. Government gave me a chance to leave earth and go to save planet. Government said I have to take one person and one suitcase with me. So, I choose Bear Grylls to go with me, because he is professional survivor. I choose to take knife, something that I can make fire, some food, big jar of peanut butter, and some stuff that Bear Grylls need it. I was really scary but I was kind of exciting to go survive with famous Bear Grylls.

            It was time to leave earth; my last view of earth was disaster. I smell burn, screaming, and I saw people dying.

Bear Grylls and I went to moon, it was cold and moist there. I can’t see beautiful blue earth anymore. All I see is dying earth.

Reaction Paper

            “Earth Without People” by Alan Weisman, this short story is about what would happen if there is no people in earth. It will be disaster on earth, all the animals will be death, and plant.

            Author used imagery as a many senses and meaning. In the story, “Dazzling white squadrons of red-crowned cranes that glide over the bulrushes in perfect formation, touching down so lightly that they detonate no land mines.” This quote has touch and sight sense in one quote; the imagery in this quote shows how sensitivity and how it looks. “New York’s architecture isn’t as flammable as San Francisco’s clapboard Victorians.” This one has sight or it can be a sound, the word “flammable” makes sentence more realistic. Another example from story, “The invincible cockroach,” this quote has a sight; the word “invincible” describe the cockroach, it gives readers more about that subject.

Imagery is 5 senses that makes following sentence more realistic, interest, explain, and more detail about the subject. Also, reader can visualize a picture of what author is try to describe. Either use imagery or not, that makes story huge different even if it’s same story. So, imagery is very important for writing. Imagery effect makes easy to understand the story or poem, symbol, and reader can draw a picture on reader’s mind.

            I was born in Seoul, South Korea 1995. I have two older brothers who go to college in New York and Daytona. When I was 5 years old, I was interested at sports. So, I started playing soccer with my brother, and somehow I started playing hokey too, I played for 4 years. When I started play hockey, I didn’t even know how to skate, so I practice every day only skating for 4 days. After 4 days, I start play hokey on the field. After few years, I was really good at it. I was captain of my team; I always played with 13 years old guys when I was 7 years old. If I can go to past right now by time machine, then I’ll choose to go back when I start hokey.

One day when I was 9 years old, I follow my mom to golf course. My mom gave me a golf club and told me to try to hit the ball, I hit it well, and I want it. But I never thought I want or will be a professional golfer until I play a first tournament. I played good on first golf tournament, after that I wanted to be a professional golfer. So, after that I practice every day, really hard. So, I become a rank 3 on my age when I was 13 years old.

My parent asked me about going America and play golf and study. So, I went to America by myself when I’m 13 years old. I went to Mike Bender Golf Academy in Florida, and I start played to tournament a lot more, and my golf game improve a lot more. 2 years later, I moved to Lake Mary, Florida. Now I go to school Lake Mary Prep High School, and I’m still want to be professional golfer.

I had to fight through all the hard work and I wanted to give up. But golf is a something that you can’t take it off from me. I will never give up and I’ll do my best until I reach my goal. I try to be independent. While I’m playing golf I had a lot of moment that I want to quit golf, but I don’t give up because it’s just part of the game of golf.
